Jenny’s Next Step Journey
I am finally starting to believe that I can develop a healthy relationship with food, lose weight and keep it off, without having to count and track everything.
Jenny is a business owner, landlord, and someone who has tried every diet under the sun to varying success.
Following the same cycle all of us follow, Jenny would lose weight, and then regain it once the diet was over.
This led Jenny to contact Next Step Nutrition, where she originally started on the Performance Plan.
Jenny had great success, finding it amazing how much she could actually eat and still lose weight, and enjoyed the flexibility this allowed her in her food choices and social life.
However, Jenny has always struggled with an ‘all or nothing’ attitude, so when things got difficult, she found it hard to find balance, and would either be ‘counting and good’ or ‘not counting and bad’.
This led to Jenny switching over to the Next Step VS ProCoach plan, where she has continued to have success.
Jenny is now learning eating habits that will last a lifetime and are the key to being healthy for the long game. Learning that life is all about a continuum of worse to best choices, and is about balance.
Through the ProCoach programme Jenny has lost 4lb and is continuing to progress toward her goal of running a 10km before 2017!
I have struggled with my weight my whole adult life, I was a slim, healthy child who loved food an awful lot and would eat as much as possible when given unrestricted access to things i particularly enjoyed. This led to weight gain during adolescence and my first calorie counting at 16. Since then I have lost and gained significant amounts of weight several times, doing fine while counting and tracking but putting weight on as soon as I stopped. Working with Jonny and following a macro plan revolutionised the way I looked at eating for weight loss and my beliefs about how much I could eat and still lose weight. I had fantastic success on the macro plan losing about 20lbs in 4 or 5 months.
Now I am working with Jonny, following the ProCoach Software and for the first time since I was 16, I am actually starting to believe that I can develop a healthy relationship with food, lose weight and keep it off, without having to count and track everything I put into my mouth.
